What changes when moving from Wix to WordPress?
Export options differ by Wix content type. Some data can be exported, while layouts and platform-dependent features need a different approach. Inventory the pages, media and functions before estimating the rebuild.
Review existing URLs and arrange their handling in the environment that will serve the domain after the move. Keep access to the old content until the new site has been checked.

Wix To WordPress Questions
Can the content be exported automatically?
Some Wix data has export options, but a complete working website does not transfer directly to WordPress. Check the available methods for each content type before deciding how much manual work is needed.
What about our Wix domain?
The domain may be pointed to the new site without transferring its registration, subject to access and provider arrangements.
Will the rebuilt content be the same?
That depends on the agreed brief. Separate faithful transfer from copywriting, and approve any changes to meaning or claims.
