Website redesign agency
A fresh design should address the reasons you are replacing the site. Look closely at useful content, customer journeys and search traffic before deciding what changes.

Give your existing website a clearer structure and a more useful design
An existing website contains more than pages to replace. It may hold valuable content, search visibility and familiar routes for returning customers. A redesign needs to account for all three.
What to consider in a website redesign
The visual changes are one part of the job. Content decisions and launch preparation deserve equal care.
A plan for existing URLs
Decide which addresses stay, which need a relevant redirect and which pages should be retired. Sending every old URL to the homepage is rarely a helpful answer.
A useful starting benchmark
Available traffic, enquiry and search data can show what the existing site contributes and provide context when reviewing the replacement.
Navigation that reflects demand
Organise the website around what visitors need to find. An old menu is useful evidence, but it should not dictate every new decision.
Performance worth measuring
Identify the loading and interaction problems that affect users, then assess the replacement against agreed measures and realistic test conditions.
Content with a reason to stay
Review accuracy, usefulness and existing performance before keeping, combining or removing pages. A shorter site is not automatically a better one.
Usability and accessibility
Review navigation, forms, contrast and keyboard use as part of the redesign.

All servicesDesign that looks like your business rather than a template someone else is also using. Built to load fast and to be found for the things people actually search for.
For when you need to edit everything yourself. Built on clean custom fields rather than a page builder, so it stays quick and does not fall apart on update day.
Online shops on Shopify, set up so the product data, the feeds and the analytics all agree with each other. No bespoke checkout, because you do not need one.
A static front end with the content held somewhere sensible behind it. Nothing to hack, nothing to slow down, and hosting that costs almost nothing to run.
Logos, brand marks, artwork and the bits that go around a site: social templates, printed pieces, photography direction. Useful whether or not we built the website.
Updates, backups, uptime monitoring, hosting and a set number of small changes each month. Optional, and you can leave whenever you like.

“Amply was fantastic at designing my website. They were helpful, quick to reply and very informative. I will definitely continue to use their services. Couldn’t recommend more.”
Holly WatsonFounder, Horizon Sports “Really happy with how our new website has turned out. We wanted something that looked professional, was easy for customers to use and showed off the work we do, and that's exactly what we've got. The whole process was really easy, and it was great having someone who understood what we were after and could bring our ideas to life. Would happily recommend!”

Chris BaronManaging Director, Silver Bullet Express “The team at Amply did a brilliant job at building my new website. I can't thank them enough, particularly Nigel and Josh who went the extra mile to make sure that the site looked nice and also brings us in work.”
Jordan MilmanDirector, F&F Drainage “We have used 2 or 3 larger agencies in the past.... All were a waste of money, Nigel has been very consistent and lovely to deal with.”

Treat search visibility as part of the redesign brief
Changes to URLs, content, internal links and page templates can all affect search performance. Redirects matter, but they cannot compensate for every change or guarantee that rankings will remain stable.
A useful launch plan records what is changing and how it will be checked. After launch, monitor indexing, errors and traffic alongside actual enquiries.

Questions before a website rebuild
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Rankings can change during a redesign, including when redirects are correct. Careful planning reduces avoidable problems, but no agency can promise unchanged rankings or a fixed recovery period.
Can you keep our existing content?
Useful, accurate content is worth considering for the new site. Review it alongside customer needs and performance data before deciding what to keep, improve or retire.
How long does it take?
The schedule depends on the size of the site, content changes and functionality.
Do we have to change platform?
A redesign does not inherently require a different platform. Review the current system against your editing, functionality and maintenance needs before deciding to move.
What happens on launch day?
The launch plan should cover the new site, redirects, forms, analytics and essential customer journeys.
What if my old site is a mess and nobody has the logins?
Share the access you do have. Public pages can help with an initial review, but control of the domain, hosting and relevant accounts must be established. Recovery depends on ownership evidence and the provider's procedures.
