Questions about website costs
Why is it a price "from"?
Because the work is quoted, not sold off a shelf. The figure against each tier is a real project we have delivered at that number, and yours lands where it lands once we know the scope and how much of the content we are writing.
What makes a quote go up?
Usually three things: how much of the site there is to build, how much copy we write rather than you, and anything that has to talk to a system you already run. We tell you which of those is moving the number and by how much.
Do you ask for the money up front?
A third to start, a third at design sign-off and a third before launch. For Advanced projects we agree a schedule against the milestones instead.
Is there anything ongoing to pay?
Only hosting, and only if you want us to handle it. The site is yours and you can host it anywhere. A care plan is optional and you can stop it whenever you like.
What if it costs more than you quoted?
It does not. The price is fixed at the point you agree it. If you ask for something outside what was scoped we tell you what it does to the price and the date before we do it, and you decide.
Do you do payment plans?
Yes, spread over the length of the project and sometimes a little beyond it for the Growth tier. Ask and we will put something sensible in writing.
