A trades website that shows what you do and makes enquiries straightforward
A practical website can support recommendations and introduce the business to people who do not know you yet. The right scope depends on the services you offer and the enquiries you want to receive.
What belongs on a trade website?
Give customers the information they need to decide whether the job is a good fit.
Real examples of the work
Use clear photographs with enough context to show what was done. Check client permission and avoid revealing private details unnecessarily.
Verified registrations and qualifications
Publish only current credentials relevant to the work offered. Check the wording, registration details and use of scheme logos.
Accurate service coverage
Explain where you take on work and any relevant limits. Useful local information should reflect the real business, not a list of search keywords.
Straightforward contact options
Make the correct phone number and enquiry route easy to find, including any stated contact hours.
Genuine customer feedback
Use reviews with a reliable source and appropriate permission.
Relevant information with the enquiry
Photos may help explain a job, but uploads need suitable limits and secure handling.

All servicesDesign that looks like your business rather than a template someone else is also using. Built to load fast and to be found for the things people actually search for.
For when you need to edit everything yourself. Built on clean custom fields rather than a page builder, so it stays quick and does not fall apart on update day.
Online shops on Shopify, set up so the product data, the feeds and the analytics all agree with each other. No bespoke checkout, because you do not need one.
A static front end with the content held somewhere sensible behind it. Nothing to hack, nothing to slow down, and hosting that costs almost nothing to run.
Logos, brand marks, artwork and the bits that go around a site: social templates, printed pieces, photography direction. Useful whether or not we built the website.
Updates, backups, uptime monitoring, hosting and a set number of small changes each month. Optional, and you can leave whenever you like.

“Amply was fantastic at designing my website. They were helpful, quick to reply and very informative. I will definitely continue to use their services. Couldn’t recommend more.”
Holly WatsonFounder, Horizon Sports “Really happy with how our new website has turned out. We wanted something that looked professional, was easy for customers to use and showed off the work we do, and that's exactly what we've got. The whole process was really easy, and it was great having someone who understood what we were after and could bring our ideas to life. Would happily recommend!”

Jordan MilmanDirector, F&F Drainage “We have used 2 or 3 larger agencies in the past.... All were a waste of money, Nigel has been very consistent and lovely to deal with.”

Give recommendations somewhere useful to lead
Someone who has been given your name may still want to see the type of work you do or check that you cover their area. A website can answer those questions before the first call.
Keep the content focused on genuine services and relevant examples. Local visibility also depends on factors beyond the website; ongoing SEO is a separate service.

Questions about websites for trades
Is it worth it when I get work by recommendation?
It can give referred customers a useful place to check services, examples and contact details. Whether the investment makes sense depends on your goals, capacity and current enquiries.
How much does it cost?
Website packages start at £2,000 for Growth, £4,500 for Scale and £12,000 for Advanced. The number of services, content requirements and functionality affect the final quote.
Can I use my phone photographs?
Clear phone photographs may be suitable. Use files with enough resolution, check permission and choose images that show the work accurately.
Will I come up on Google?
Search visibility cannot be guaranteed, including for local terms or your own name. Clear service content and accurate business information provide a useful foundation; competition and ongoing activity also matter.
What about the directories I pay for?
Assess directories alongside your own website using costs and enquiry quality. They can serve different purposes, and a new website does not automatically replace their contribution.
