Web design agency for architects
Project imagery deserves careful presentation, but prospective clients also need to understand your role, the type of work you take on and how an initial conversation begins.

An architecture website that explains the thinking behind your projects
A portfolio can communicate a practice's interests and approach. Relevant project details, clear navigation and considered image handling help visitors assess the work without making the site difficult to use.
What an architecture practice website needs
Let the portfolio lead while giving clients the practical information needed to enquire.
Considered project presentation
Combine selected photography, drawings and explanations, with appropriate permissions and image handling for different screens.
Clear sectors and project types
Describe the work the practice genuinely undertakes, helping prospective clients assess suitability before they contact you.
An understandable process
Explain the practice's actual stages and responsibilities in plain language. Refer to recognised frameworks only where they apply and have been checked.
A clear approach to fees
Publish approved structures or explain how a quotation is prepared. Any examples need context about scope and exclusions.
The people in the practice
Present verified qualifications and registrations accurately. Make professional roles clear without implying credentials the team has not confirmed.
Planning explained carefully
Describe the support genuinely offered and the limits of what can be promised. Planning approval should never be presented as guaranteed.

All servicesDesign that looks like your business rather than a template someone else is also using. Built to load fast and to be found for the things people actually search for.
For when you need to edit everything yourself. Built on clean custom fields rather than a page builder, so it stays quick and does not fall apart on update day.
Online shops on Shopify, set up so the product data, the feeds and the analytics all agree with each other. No bespoke checkout, because you do not need one.
A static front end with the content held somewhere sensible behind it. Nothing to hack, nothing to slow down, and hosting that costs almost nothing to run.
Logos, brand marks, artwork and the bits that go around a site: social templates, printed pieces, photography direction. Useful whether or not we built the website.
Updates, backups, uptime monitoring, hosting and a set number of small changes each month. Optional, and you can leave whenever you like.

“Amply was fantastic at designing my website. They were helpful, quick to reply and very informative. I will definitely continue to use their services. Couldn’t recommend more.”
Holly WatsonFounder, Horizon Sports “Really happy with how our new website has turned out. We wanted something that looked professional, was easy for customers to use and showed off the work we do, and that's exactly what we've got. The whole process was really easy, and it was great having someone who understood what we were after and could bring our ideas to life. Would happily recommend!”

Jordan MilmanDirector, F&F Drainage “We have used 2 or 3 larger agencies in the past.... All were a waste of money, Nigel has been very consistent and lovely to deal with.”

Help the portfolio answer a client's questions
A prospective client may admire a project without knowing whether it relates to their needs. A concise account of the brief, constraints and practice's role gives the imagery useful context.
Add clear service and enquiry information so visitors can judge what to discuss next. The website should reflect the practice's actual working arrangements and fees, with professional claims verified before publication.

Questions about architecture websites
Can we show large images without the site being slow?
Large imagery can be handled efficiently through suitable formats, sizes and loading choices. Performance still depends on the wider site and connection; a one-second load time should not be promised without evidence.
Should we publish fees?
That is a practice decision. An approved fee structure or explanation of quotation factors can help clients understand the process without suggesting every project costs the same.
Can we keep our existing photography?
Check resolution, suitability and licence rights before planning layouts around it. Existing files may be usable, while some applications may need alternatives.
Do we need case studies as well as a gallery?
A case study can explain the brief and your contribution in a way a gallery cannot. Use it where that context helps the intended client, supported by accurate, approved details.
Will it work with the way we actually get clients?
The brief should reflect your actual sources of work, whether referrals, repeat clients or new enquiries. Explain which audiences matter so the website can support their questions.
